Worth learning both Healing divison and Group healing?

Post by IgsTer »

Hey lads

im a cleric/bard but mainly concentrating on cleric skills..im lvl'n with no gap so i dont get a whole lot of sp i hadnt had enough for my bard tree in the last while as the lvls have risen and thus the requirements are preety high..so really can only level each skill at the moment when i get the sp up..

anyway so now im on lvl 20 and have alot of skills to learn and have learned about 3 so far..and maybe theres bout 5 more to learn in this current level..im probably going to be learning one of these skills next but not sure if its worth learning both of them or not ?

they seem to the same thing with the division one being a bit smarter when it comes to healing..what you think

Do sp farming and all the skills in cleric skilltree shall be maxed, IMO, since total sp not that much compared to chinese.

At level 20 it's worth getting Healing Division. It definitely comes in handy if you get in a situation where you're fighting 3+ mobs and need to consistently keep healing. Between Healing Division, Group Healing, and Healing, you'll have no cool down. The one (big) negative part of Healing Division is that the larger the party you play in, the more random its effect. With all the chaos going on, you can't really tell who it's going to heal, especially since it only has 2 transfers and the distance is 10m. However, for the price you pay for the skill, it will come in handy at times from level 20 to 30.

Healing Division - The optimal skill for a party of less than 4 members. In a party of 2, it is basically a cheap Group Healing. I also use this skill when soloing instead of Healing, because I don't have to target myself then the monster I'm attacking again.
Only problem is that it will most often affect the Pure Int party members first, since it targets the person with the lowest HP and not the lowest % of total HP. It is therefore bad for healing tanks.
If there is a large distance between the two affected targets, it takes more time to activate.

Group Healing - If 4 or more party members need health this is your skill or choice. This has a greater ranger than Healing, so I will often use it to heal the party tanks. Problem with this skill is it costs the most mana, and loses efficiency with smaller groups.

When I'm in a pinch, I use both skills because I need to have quicker healing than either skill alone. I use it with small parties and with big parties or just by myself. I think it's only possible because of pots and my bard sub class *shrugs*

Having both works quite well when you yourself need quick healing and the nukers and tanks don't see that their only healer is in dire need of protecting! :banghead:

Most of the reasons to choose Healing division alongside the other healing skills have already been named. I just want to add, that it is often useful to use the minimal means of healing, if they are sufficient, because this lowers the probability of you getting targeted.
