Forming Party Quest

As stupid as it may sound, i am stuck in the European quest called Forming Party.

I already joined a party twice, it never worked, and since all European quests are linked together, i can't keep on going without finishing it.

I tried setting up a party as party leader.
I joined a party from the Party Match window.

Never worked.

I don't understand, do i have to get invited by a player to join a party or is there an error in the quest?

The npc gives some conditions for the party. I think it has to be xp share, not sure about item distribution. Check your party settings.

I just checked it, both parties i joined/set up had the needed requirments

I didn't have any problem, so I cant tell where the problem might be.

How did you join your party?

Maybe you need to be invited to a party by another player...

I was standing in front of that specialty trader and invited another player that was standing there, asking for a party to join for that quest.

What exactly did you do to finish it? That little detail might help others.

I asked a friend to set up a Item/XP auto-share party and to invite me there, and it worked.

The important thing is to get invited, it will not work if you set the party up yourself.

Also don't forget it has to be Item/XP auto-share, not Item Destribution and Xp auto-share...

I finished it from inviting someone else to my party with auto item and exp. And most important, unlike the euro quest guide that is posted you do NOT have to be in an 8 person party. I don't know why that's still on there...

in my case, i needed XP share AND Item Share.

this caused ===> Alot of Quest item drops for all.

before, the party was XP share / Item distrib. and NO quest items for any one.

somebody just invited me... then i had trouble with that too... so i went to the man beside tina, and talked to him for another quest.

i went back to tina,, and everything turned out fine..
