bards and mana shield

if u use a bard skill to buff my self then change weapons will the buff still be active? also is this mana shield i keep reading about and wat dose it do?

A buff will disappear when you switch weapons. But if the buff can be used at all members of the party or casted on other players then you can switch weapons after activation.

Mana shield is a Chinese skill in the Ice tree. It creates a blue ball-like shape around the caster allowing him to separate damage which he takes between his hp and mp. It allows int builds to survive much longer in battles. It stays active for 2 minutes, unless you die and has a 1 minute cool down.
