Why is it we have to put up with these moronic spam bots in everytown selling gold and powerlevelling?

AssMax are really not doing much to stop these pains making all chat unuseable in town............

Because they have bigger "fish to fry" then a couple spam bots in towns.

What "fish" do you mean? The bots they refuse to permanently block or the extra cash they are trying to bleed from us to make this "free" game the most expensive MMORPG around?

Sounds like the fishing trip is not being very productive......

(I dunno why you used that analogy either, but it seems to work)

my guess is that these powerleveling sites pay "assmax" so they can set up a bot to spam towns with thier advertising so each company makes money

Anybody else have trouble dcing the ones that stall? Last time I tried with the bandit den scroll trick SRO froze up on me.

make a fake gm char, a bot is usually programmed to auto dc when it finds the presene of a GM

It's working fine for me. I disconnect them just fine. Although I only found 2 powerlevel/GKplayer spammers that had stalls up. The rest just stand there with no stall

I think it's true joymax gets some money from atleast one of the bot sites. I heard from someone that a mod on botsmall.com posted on their forum they pay joymax not to ban their users. And botsmall isnt a small operation. They have stores in a few different countries.

Conspiracy? O_O
