plz someone help me find a char that fits me?

ok.........PLZ HELP!!! ok look ive been plzyin this game for a year.i make a char and bring it to lvl 20 but then i say it sux and make a new one. ive made almost 6+ chars....... can some one help me find a right char for me?

Perhaps only you can answer this question, but...

What were the things you did not like about your previous characters?

Here are some of the questions I ask myself when I build a character:

1) Do you prefer PvP or PvM?
2) What weapons do you prefer to use?
3) What Force powers do you prefer to use?
4) Do you like (or at least not mind too much) SP farming?
...


Reply back with some of the answers to these questions and perhaps we can help you. Oh, 1 other thing, there is NO PERFECT CHARACTER, all characters have their strengths and weaknesses, but you may prefer to play some more than others.

If u want fast leveling and high damage, take a pure int spear
BUT you die more.

If you want high damage, reasonable leveling speed and tanking, take a pure str glavier.
BUT - Not as much power as pure int

If you want a ranged attacker that can tank and pwn pure ints, take a pure str bowman.

Bear in mind, yr char only gets great after lvl 30

1-i prefer pvm but when i get 64+i wanna do both
2-i always like spear its kinda strong
3-i dunno in some guides they tell me to do 3 forces and some tell me to use only 2 i get confused
4-im sooooooooo unpatient for sp farmin but i do it sometimes

and what i didnt like my other chars is because it seem to me that they were to monotone and i kinda didnt like them.
i know that there is no such thing as a perfect char

OK.

For PvM, you will own as a Pure-INT Spearman once you get your magic force powers. Fire is the strongest imbue (most damage) but not necessarily the most fun to play or coolest looking. You will die easily early on but it will be worth it later ... be patient.

You probably should get a bow immediately, no need for any bow related skills, to speed up leveling at lower levels.

Since you are not a big fan of SP farming (me neither ... not sure if anyone is?) you want to be very careful what skills you choose because you need those valuable skill points. Look at guides for Pure-INT spearman for help here. Of course, be very careful with skill levels since you only get 300 total.

Remember, if you mess up, and we all do, you can always do the level 20 quest to delevel your skill levels, getting back 80% of your skill points, and make adjustments. It costs money/gold and time, but so what, its a game. Most important thing is to have fun with this character! Try new things and delevel to fix the things you don't like!

you can also go pure int sword/shield. deals decent damage and can survive longer (coz of the shield).

as to getting the skill points, there's the farming (9 gap at 16/24/32...) or maintaining a reasonable gap all the way. its 16/24/32... because its where you get sos weapons, so if u can get them, pimp them a lil (elixirs + str/int tabs), you can kill mobs higher that you and get good sp. i prefer to do it farm at lower lvls (say 10 to 15k sp from lvl 1 to lvl 30) then maintain a gap from there. farm again if you need more sp.

if u go pur ints, u'll need more sp since u'll be getting nukes in addition to wep skills. here's a like to find out how much sp u need for ur build:

Try this build:

Pure int
Spear.
Lightning and ice (no fire ftw!)
Heuksal.

You can also chose bicheon instead of heuksal, but you like spear and it'll make up for the lost damage due to no fire.

Trust me, ice light "mages" are the most FUN BUILD EVER!
They only REALLY get fun after level 50 though, but they're still great until that point.

Plus, if you're pretty serious about playing, you'll own at the 90 cap.

pure int=armour and a crap set of robes for training

hyrbids= garment and a good set of prots for pvp

if u want to pvp at 64 i would go heavy int hybrid spear light and ice 4:1 5:1 6:1

and if ur even thinking of not using ice as a int build, go pure str

why not go pur str glavie. massive hp, hits hard, crits hardest
u'll get ks'd most of the time after lvl 30 but u can always ask them nicely not to ks anymore, if they don't reply or say fu.ck u, kill em

with nice gears (not awesome), u'll almost be unkillable (almost coz there's always that blader with shield buff that blocks 2/5 hits )

as long as you know that spear levels a ton quicker than glavie.
and int builds dont have to run all the way to every mob like str
do. they can range hit em which saves time = xp

Leveling up from 1 to 30 isn't what you're really going for if you want a strong PvP character later. SP farming is critical, especially if you're going 3 trees. Having a 7 gap from level 9 to level 16 will get you enough SXP for maxing your level 16 skills (going by Megaman's guide's glavie skill build), but you'll most likely encounter serious SXP problems afterwards. The way to work around that is to get an SoX bow and SP farm on Bandit archers with a 9 gap, but I'd have serious doubts about getting an SoX bow.

Since you're going pure str glavie, you should know that, as everybody already said, that you're goign to level up slower than an int spear. You'll also probably use more MP pots than HP pots.

Fastest way to get from level 1 to 30 is not to gap, do as many quests as possible (excluding the beginning delivery quests, because those are terrible time/xp ratio), use the 50 and 100% xp helper. That's the fastest way, but also the way you'll get a crappy char.

why the race to lvl 30? lvl 30 is crucial for int builds coz lvl 30 gives u access to nukes, for str builds, there isn't much diff in lvl 30 skills. same old soul spear/ghost spear

for Pure str glavie, the race to 32 is crucial. You get to throw the spear and get the teleport skill..

It's fun to play around with.

just look at pics of all the highest level weapons and see wich one you like the most...you may have to put up with some crappy ones along the way but in the end you will love your choice
