Hi,

how much of a difference in damage is there between full str archer and full int spear - Bow appeals massivley to me, but the damage is less i presume - just how much less damage is there. Spear doesnt appeal that much but i guess id go for it if the damage is so much more.

Well, Pure str archer and Pure Int Spear Nuker...

I don't know the exact formula for dmg, but Nukers do Massive amounts of Dmg....A S/S nuker does more dmg then a Pure Str archer....A Pure Int Spear Nuker does about 1.5x dmg of a S/S.... So literally, Pure Int Spear Nuker does highest dmg in game, but has little health compared to the Pure Str Archer, which has little dmg compared to the Nuker..

So Pure str archer for health, pure int spear for dmg..

The crits of a pure STR can be quite amazing indeed, but nothing comes even close to dealing the damage of a pure INT spear.

im full str bow and i crit ALOT and its always high dmg im lvl 64 with 64+5 bow and 7gap

if u take all the hits of a pure str bow and a pure int spear the pure int spear is going to come out ahead.... by ALLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

but as several ppl have mentioned, the bow crits do nice dmg

p.s. the reason ppl say bows suck in pvp is cause they dont have KB or STUN or KD or something to that affect, if they did, then bows might be a top pvp build (AHAHAHAHAH never thought i'd say that)

That's why I'm making a one hit All or Nothing Pure Int Nuker to take on the KB/Stun of a Archer in the 90 Cap....SoSun+9 8th Degree Spear (Or 9th if SoSun goes for 9th degree as well) might take a while though....

Archers are being amde as we speak because of the new skills for Pacheon in the PvP....There is going to be tons of them outside Donwhang...

pure ints are amazing if they can figure out a nice nuke;lion;ghost walk combo

let's put it this way: at lvl 38 i can kill a robber bowman with anti devil+berzerker+3arrow combo with my pure str bow, whereas a pure int spear nuker can kill one in 1 nuke.

of course the "biased" part is im trying to get a farming gap so my skills are at 33, and i don't know the nuker's gap.

dont keep ur hopes up man , news skills r gona give bow STUN and KB, ther probly gona come out in a year or so

As a bower I will tell you we are at a disadvantage at 1vs1.

A pure int spear is the highest damage dealer in the game. A pure str bow is the 2nd lowest damage dealer in the game.(Blade being lowest).

The damage difference is huge.
The difference in hp you have is also huge.

In the future if the new skills come out where bow gets knockback or stun, then bow will be much more of a force to be reckoned with.

Oh and the reason why everyone says bows crit are powerful and they dont mention spear crits is because as a int character you will mostly be using nukes. Nukes cant crit.

+1 Although str bows will have a lot of health, they can't stop any attacks and sooner or later the damage catches up to them. Also most of the skills take a long time to execute allowing others to pot up after an attack and stun or kd them more easily. That's why bows are probably the hardest builds to play pvp wise as they can't just stand there spamming skills like a pure str glaive and expect to survive.

Also it's refreshing to have someone admit the faults in their own build instead of the usual "my build pwns no one 150 levels above me can kill me!!11!"
