destroying sos?

Anyone ever wonder what would happen if you use destroyer rondo on a sos? Do you get extra elements of them or its just not worth it?

yea it's special assimilation too, 80% chance to wipe your inventory, so put ur stuf fin storage and dont forget to put ur monkey in storage too

you wont get anything special except for elements and if ur lucky
a stone (not a soX one cuz they dont exist...)

Once I destoryed a lvl 1 npc glove and I got a seal of sun stone 8th degree. But I accidentaly npc'ed it.

Rondoing SoX items will not give an SoX Stone. If the Item has some blues, like INT/STR/Durability/etc then you might get some of those along with the elements, but SoX items NEVER give SoX Stones.

If you break a 5th degree sox weapon for example, you will get the same amount of elements as a regular 5th degree weapon. Basically, you get nothing special, so you may as well sell the sox.

I destroyed a lvl11 SOS Coronet a while back with 1 blue

I got a small number of elements back, same as a non SOS item

another guy in our Union also tried it lol

I destroyed a lvl 11 fem sos glove and got like 15 elements TOTAL. It's just like destroying anything else.

I destroyed 24lvl crappy gloves, and i get only elements, so nothing special, no sosun stones or else:)

there are no seal of anything stones or tablets, even in KSRO. It doesn't give you a ton more elements or anything. It gives you about the same as a non SOS dropped item the same level. The only thing the alchemy element calculation is actually based on is NPC price and level of the item. Like a lvl 35 5D halbert gives you more than a lvl 32 5D one. Btw you can't disjoint a GDF either

You just get more elements (yes, more)

In addition, if there are blues, you get most liekly the same chance of getting a stone (I got no stone)

i accidently destroy rondoed a lvl24+4 som bow thought it was a regular bow i had in my inventory :banghead:

only thing different i noticed was the amount of elements given was about X10

no, the SOS does not give more elements

I also destroyed a normal item at the same time, and listed amounts produced to my Union - the amounts did not vary from the expected range

you can destroy 10 of the same NPC item and they will all give different elements...

is random each time within 2 Degrees of elements in different amounts.

I once made a big spread sheet of all the stuff I destroyed to see if I could narrow down certain stuff to break to get the elements I was after...

The element types are often different and so are the amounts.
tried this with buying NPC stuff also

i broke down a sos shoulder 4D for fun don't have a ss but i got alot of elements and 2 stones. Higher degrees probably not worth it but lower degrees i could c why. i got 344 units of wind 2 from the break down and other elements. i figure live alittle! if anyone wants to break down a sosun i'd love to c the results
