Full SoS Set?
I'm trying to get around a full SoS set for farming at lvl 24, and I once heard that if u have all SoS then u get like +5 to all stats or something like that, is that true? Thanks.

Having a full set of SOS gear is like wearing a full set of gear 5 levels above what they are. SOM is ~10 and SOSun is 15. You don't get any actually bonuses other than the fact that the equipment is better than the NPC stuff.Fat_Smurf wrote:hum someone told me once that you were getting like +5 for full sos and +10 for full som and +15 for full sosun
offtopic, woot i've just typed this post without looking at my keyboard![]()

SOS= +5
SOM= +10
SOSUN= +15
they are lying. SOS doesnt compare to the + of a weapon. it either does more or less but a SOS is never a +5. som never a +10 and sosun is never a +15.
They are merely comparing the physical and magical damage which do match at about those figures.

My SOSun+5 level 1 spear was exactly the same as a level 21 spear and a level 16 SOS spear. My level 32 SOS+1 was exactly the same as my level 38 spear.Blackdragon6 wrote:Correction, +7lvls.threefingeredguy wrote:No bonus. The gear is equivalent to gear 5 levels higher (assuming it has no +s).

a 32 sos can't be exactly the same as a 32+5. BUT it can be the same as a 38 (+x) spear. Theoretically it should be possible.
BUT it cannot be the same as a normal 32+5 because of the reinforce. Maybe if the sos is at 0% and 32+5 is at 100%? dunno how much it varies...

You get +5 int +5 str, and +15% moving speed... Or something.
And to the "sos=+5" stuff, I have to say this:
GM's said that sos is +7, som is +8-14, sosun is +15.
Everyone says "nah, it's not the same". But people compare different stuff.
There is a formula which makes different degrees and level more powerful. What I mean by this is that a lv 32+3 weapon is not the same as a lv 35 weapon. This is because though the +3 comes close, the lv 35 has a base of 35, which makes it more powerful.
it's hard to explain, but if you were to compare a 32 sos weapon with a 32+7 weapon, all stats being "0%", then they would be the same. Whether as if you were to compare a 32 sos weapon with a 35+4 weapon, the 35 would be more powerful due to its higher "base".

Ahh. I only said what I said because on the site they claim that there is a bonus. Either it was removed by accident, on purpose, or there never was a bonus.
Although then again, you said he busted it over a year ago, so perhaps things have changed?
