PunBB is so much better than PHPBB, and it has tons of versatility.

I've admined phpbb, smf, punbb, invision, and bbs forums. While almost every forum has more options or versatility than phpBB, phpBB is the only forum software I can stand to use.

I prefer Invision since it doesn't have exploits like what phpBB has and it's easy to make scripts/mods/plugins for it, as an admin of my old SRO forum, Invision > phpBB all the way.
