black screen problem..please help

hello,
i'm having a silkroad online issue for a few months.. and its getting really anoying.. it practicaly ruins all my gaming experience..in other words its full of s***..
silkroad starts normaly and very quick.. loggining goes smoothly and with no problems.. after about 20 mins of gameplay my screen suddenly goes BLACK and my entire computer freezes.. ctrl-alt-del doesn't work.. and neither is my restart button (o.O).all i can do is hold the turn off/start button for a few secs .. i get 3 beeps and computer shuts down..
that has been happening to me at least 8 times a day for the last 4 months -.- here is my config
athlon 64 sock 939 3800+
nvidia gforce 6600GT 256mb 128b
hdd western digital 40gb
512 DDRAM
Asus A8N-E motherboard.. and so on
i have no hardware issues.. all 3d marks from 2001 to 2006 run smoothly and give no errors..
honestly i haven't the smallest ideea of whats going on..so any help is warmly welcomed...
but please don't give me bulls*** like.. upgrade ure vga drivers and stuff.. or tell me that my vga is not well sticked into the pci-e slot :banghead:

Does this happens to SRO only?

Also, before the computer freezes, do you hear anything different at the sound?

I had the similar problem for ages, tried everything but nothing worked. Lately I figured out it's a problem with my powersupply.

it happened in Godfather the game..but not all the time.. very randomly and a few other games but as i said completely random.
i just bought a power supply a few days ago
a Chieftec 450W ...still happens..
but its realy screwed up because for example , last night i tried to capture this on a video cam (the way the screen turns black) and it didin't turn black :banghead:

about the sounds.. i dunno i just hear 3 beeps when the screen turns black and thats it
