i know this is a stupid question but i need to know how to check what kind of video card i have..

do i go to control panel or something like that?

Right Click my computer > Hardware > goto device manager and its under display adatpers

i think its right click on screen > properties>settings and it might show which one you have somewhere on there. I could be wrong though. Im not nearly as proficient with computers as some of the other members here...
