ARMOR QUESTION

Post by coalminer071 »

ok guys i got a question to ask you
physical reinforcement raises your physical attack?
and magical reinforcement raises ur int attack?

so a full str should have armor on?
and full int should have garment on?

since these armor have better reinforcement for int and str

is this info true>

holy .....
theres something called search button

armor does not raise physical reinforcement
garment does not raise magical reinforcement
armor gives more physical defense more than garmets do

yes, something new players need to realize: there are 3 types of armor sets and 4 types of weapons. why do they divide the stuff to weapon and armor? because weapons are for attacking and armors are for defending. so armors themselves do not give attacking bonuses (the blues might). armor, protector, and garment have different speed, and mp usage bonuses; but they have nothing to do with your attacking power.

Coal you are correct.

Reinforce does go into your damage calculation.

So if you are int based you will hit harder wearing garmet. The question is will you notice the difference in damage, I dont know.

Most people recommend: int =armor
str=garms

This is because if you check your stat page you will have better protection from someone of similar build. Ex. (int character is more resistant to magic damage and weak against physical damage)

An intel character might choose armor to help balance out there build.

For me its easy, I rather run fast than carrying heavy armor.

And peeps who dont understand the purpose of reinforce read this post:http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=24529
I had to read the thread like 10 times and break out the calculator, but the answer is there.
lvl 65 4gap 84:84 bow inactive.
