eMachines techs = retarded

So I made the post about my RAM questions earlier and this is my follow up. I found some nice, cheap Kingston RAM on newegg (2x1Gig for $144.00) and I called eMachines to ask a couple questions (found out they know nothing) about my system. I asked if Kingston was a good brand to put in my PC (I was testing them at this point) and they told me flat out "Kingston RAM does not work in our system." So I get looking at some of the other eMachines models....and you know what come STANDARD with them? Kingston RAM. They suggested I buy 1Gig of ram (1 stick from eMachine) for 100 bucks when I can get 2 Gigs on newegg from a premium brand for 25% less? Give me a break!

I just thought this was funny. Thought I would share my disgust and laughter with everyone else.

That sounds like a great reason to not buy eMachines in the future. But at least you can be pretty certain your RAM will work.

Yeah...I am not a fan of ANY prebuilt machine, but I got a good deal on mine and my parents didnt want to give me a 1000 bucks to buy computer parts and put them together myself, which is totally easy, but you know how parents are.
