Astral Question

hello everyone

There other day I bought a good,cheap SOS 24+4 blade, and am thinking about adding astral to it and get it to +5 or +7. My question is does astral make it so when failing an enchant it CANT go lower than +4? or does it just increase the chances it wont? (If it just lowers the chance, any idea about how much lower?)

and off the topic...but, how high can an enchant get? I've heard +9

i keeps it from going lower than +4

I heard a rumor that it just lowers the chance of it going lower :banghead:
