Imbues question?

Anyone knows Fire Imues is more damage or Lightning Imbues + Piercing Force are more damage?

Most people go for both lightning and fire trees. Level fire imbue and level piercing force.

So: Fire+Piercing Force>Lightning+Piercing Force

However, if your going just lightning(which I wouldn't suggest), then Piercing Force+lightning imbue might be just about equal with fire.

Fire imbue always does more minimum damage, but lit imbue does more max dmg once you hit level 53.

Took less than 30 minutes to do this

Quick Explanation of the col names:

Level - Level of the player
Lit Min - Min dmg for the Lit imbue at that level
Lit Max - Max dmg of the Lit imbue at that level
Pierce % - The max % avaliable for Pierce at that level

L+P Min - Lit + Pierce Min dmg
L+P Max - Lit + Pierce Max dmg
Dif Min - The difference between L+P and L min dmg
Dif Max - The difference between L+P and L max dmg

F Min - Min dmg for fire imbue
F Max - Max dmg for fire imbue
Pierce %- The max % avaliable for Pierce at that level

F+P Min - Fire + Pierce Min dmg
F+P Max - Fire + Pierce Max dmg

F vs L (Min) - Fire dmg vs Lit dmg min
F vs L (Max) - Fire dmg vs Lit dmg max

F vs L+P (Min) - Fire dmg vs Lit + Pierce dmg min
F vs L+P (Max) - Fire dmg vs Lit + Pierce dmg max

The results:
* Fire MIN dmg is always > lit and lit + pierce min dmg
* Fire MAX dmg is only > lit and lit + pierce when the level is less than 53
* By using pierce, the extra DMG you'd get from using fire is roughly reduced by 1/2. I.e. if fire let's you do 100 dmg more, if you use lit and pierce, fire would only have done 50 dmg more.
* The extra dmg you get by using fire is really negligible. The differences are not all that
