Lower FPS?
Lower FPS?
Does anyone else notice lower FPS after the event update? I mean very low FPS compared to before.
My system isn't the best in the world, but before the update(s) I was getting good FPS with the graphic on medium setting. And now with I get very low FPS even with the graphic settings set to the lowest. So when I'm in town, it feels like I'm lagging very badly, even though there's nothing wrong with my connection, which is cable by the way.
I was just wondering if anybody else is experiencing this?

Oh thank god im no the only one with the very low fps.
I get like 1-2fps in town, and while i lvl (when im all alone) my graphics are still laggy. Yes before the update my graphics were fluent (on low settings). But now its horrible.
Newer drivers dont help either. Well all we can do is w8 till a new patch, maybe that will fix it
.
(My pc: amd 2000+ geforce 4 mx 440
384ram // but still before update fps was normal)

On my other better pc the fps is normal. Servers dont have nothing to do with it.

FPS is frame per second yes. and that has to do with your graphics card.
you dont get a lot of fps lag when you are out training because theres not a lot of things out there that require processing powers from the server and your system.
when you are in town tho, the server has to process a lot of stuff and send huge ammount of data to your machine so your graphics card can render them. This is what causes you lag. your graphics card can handle enough but it cant handle huge ammount of data like that all in one place.
in reality its you that has the problem, but this problem of yours is caused by the server sending out huge info to your machine due to the high volume of people in the server.

The coding of the game graphics has been changed slightly. I noticed during the update that it was installing different shaders and other graphical elements.
There is also a tab under bloom effect now. I assume this will allow you to use different lighting effects implemented into the game, like HDR effects in the future.

with a system like amd2000 and a mx420, etc... you are going to lag.
you need a faster processor, more memory, and a better video card...
when i had a ..... blazing fast computer that i was working on at my house, it ran the game PERFECTLY with absolutely no lag at all, not even in dw running round the thousands of stalls...
so... buy a better computer before you get upset about the patch screwin it up.
thanks. -psych

1. Condensed air, clean the dust outta your comp.
2. Turn off Bloom.
3. Get a new video card.
1. Does that everyday.
2. Done that.
3. I already meet system requirements. SRO did something to the coding or whatever. They screwed something up. Actually, they screwed up a lot of things, like equipment parts not flowing with the wind.
