Is it more economical to use pills?

I was wondering if it is better to use pills than letting the ill-status effect remain (e.g Poison, burn)

Don't mention zombie. It is a must to pill that out

I personally never went without pills for statuses, they eat out of your HP and you end up using more HP posts to make up for 1 status effect. Esp if you are Int based and lower on HP, pills are a must.
