Sometimes, I see weird thing on the floors, like this screenshot:

I also experience way to much failures of my PC, like one every 2 or 3 hours. I didn't have any failures of it with other games, like CoD2, Caesar IV, etc.
These are my specifications, I also downloaded the latest drivers:
Manufacturer: MSI
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Hard Drive: 120 GB
Video Card: ASUS Extreme AX600XT-TD
Sound Card: C-Media Rear Panel Audio
Does anyone know how I can remove those things, and how I can minimize the number of failures?
*Note: I also had these things before the update. Other options in the game (minimum resolution, etc.) also didn't work.

AHHHH!
BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD! Those are overheating artifacts created when your graphics card gets TURBO-HOT! I almost fried mine when the fan jammed without me knowing it and it got up to 283 degrees Fahrenheit then shut off my computer several times every couple hours after showing lots of aritfacts identical to those in Halo. Sound familiar?
Check to see if the fan on your graphics card is still turning while the comp is on. If it's not, clean it and hit it with your fingers and whatever. If it still won't turn, replace the whole fan or the whole card. Trust me, your computer is very lucky nothing was damaged already (well hopefully nothing was damaged). I don't see how it could overheat to the point of showing arifacts with the fan still turning so I'll assume it's busted. So when you get it fixed, you should be able to set it to give you a warning when it gets to about 70 degrees Celsius (a nice, safe, early warning temperature that it won't reach naturally but won't damage it hopefully) by right clicking on the desktop and clicking properties then going to the settings tab and clicking advanced and one of the tabs should be a special tab with your card maker's name on it and it will have all sorts of lovely settings and fun stuff. So yeah, somewhere in there there ought to be something about what temperature to warn you about and possibly what temp to shut the computer off at. Then if the fan jams again, you'd know

I also get those errors, but for me, its on Garry's mod. usually after i screw around for too long. I usually solve it just by using the "clean up" option, so it could just be how much your computer can handle. try logging out, then back in, or restarting the entire game. also, does this problem happen immediately, or over time?
