SilkroadOnline is very good game that gained popularity in short period of time. It is a game that gives a lot of entertainment to players and great amount of money to its creators. The only problem is that it was designed by people whose knowledge about taking care of their clients is easly saing weak. This company is supposed to be modern and well managed. It is honored by Korean decision-makers. And still - they are so inefficient, and can`t take care of the basic problem within their clients community. This problem, if it isn`t quickly solved, will lead to complete break of the game. Also, in far perspective it will lead to losing profitability of the whole project.
In some way, this problem is using bots by dishonest players. The number of these cheaters is still increasing, and it makes honest players turn to other games. The problem, unfortunately, isn`t about mentally immature players, that want to cheat.
The real thing is that Joymax allow them to do it!
Joymax on its webpages says clearly what punishments will be for cheating inside the game, including bot usage. Sadly, Joymax is only crying loudly about it - but don`t put their threats to use!
In practical manner, Joymax is doing nothing about fair-play. In the game it is easier to encounter 500 characters driven by bots than one GM. I`ve been playing SilkroadOnline for six months and never seen any GM activity. No one ever responds to raports send to BugReport section - not always concerning bot, but even when the case is about database security! And the complete lack of taking care of the clients is confirmed even by lists of banned players, published from time to time on the webpage. They are so short, that these numbers will not be even percent, but promille!
Joymax, with their SilkroadOnline, through their laziness and ignorance about its clients, will hit the topten of bot-friendly games. To show the problem`s scale I will publish list of 500 bots accounts - every week, until the situation will be put to normal state. I don`t expect any reaction from such patethic company like Joymax, so I`m taking justice in my own hands. From all characters gold and valuable items will dissapear. And accounts that have very valuable items or high-level characters will be saved for "Grand Finale" of my activity.
I won`t tell about my source of information about logins and passwords. I can guarantee though, that on these lists there will be specific accounts, created only by users using bots. Also, I can guarantee that whether bot will be "paid" version or cracked version, no one will be safe while using it.
If anyone in your company have used his or her brain and will move his ass to solve this problem... I am waiting for response. And I`m offering a solution of problems written below - without any costly changes or intense GM`s work:
* Liquidation of 95% actual boters population in a way that will guarantee that none of them have been punished without a cause
* Silk-Assistant list, consisting authentic players, not randomly chosen list of dishonest players, while most of them are people that don`t know a thing about this task or are using bots as well.
* Liquidation of CCF abuse connected to new kind of alchemy (Astral/Immortal)
* Pointing some critical mistakes that give access to account and password database (Yes! There is such "crack"!)
* Liquidation of trading abuse (it is connected with one line of the game`s code).
* Liquidation of DC evoke possibility (Yes! This "crack" also is used by dishonest players)
I live in Poland and I`ve been playing SilkroadOnline for six months. I`m working on practical problems of information security. A few players have helped me with this little project. I want to thank them all, and particularly - administrators of http://silkroad-online.pl. With their commitment and help with publishing my project, they showed that they are real Players. Players that, just as I do, are playing by fair-play rule.

For all I must answer.
- some accounts still have a valueable items, some not(was "cleaned", before list publication).
- There is two ways to punish a botter - ban him, or rob him.
First thing is "restricted" to GM's - for players remain second option
- I am not destroying SilkRoad economy in perceptible way. Bigger problem is for economy in silkroad is:
firms offering gold for real money / ccfers pushing up prices in relation with astral & immortal stones / lack of hunters NPC
- If someone not using a bot and have a certitude, and no one is disposing his account in this way,can rest assured.
- actually I am giveing items for random peoples, but I am trying to keep a balance.
NO ONE get more 30kk from me, and my "zools" obey this law.
- stealed funds serve for some group of players - when we reach defined gold amount, it will be sold on eBay for to disturb the balance
of gold prices, for real money.
"Zools" what I am recruited are from persons which understand the game rules, and are aware when is "too easy", every game lose a sense.
- I am not playing on any of server with char called "swiety_mikolaj" ("santa_claus") or something like that. If someone intorucing him self as "swiety_mikolaj" he is a scammer.
We never useing methods such a "give a pass and ID, and we will give you some cool things".
- Offer for JoyMax, was sended hundred of times, by bug-report and for an main JoyMax e-mail adress. No response contribute to make this manifesto.
- I am not takeing "orders" relate to bots - report 'em by a bug-report on silkroadonline.net!
- List contain at least two characters developed much more then 60 lvl, where I was logged personally.
Relation "highlvls" to "lowlvls" on list reflect realities prevailling in SilkRoad - botters are as well chars 20 lvl and 70 lvl. Difference is the 70 lvls is much less then 20 lvl - even on older servers.
Additionally we keeping a "highlvls" (like we write in our manifesto) on somekind of "finale".
- I am not reveal my technical details and sources, because it can may be used for fair-playing players. But all I can reveal for JoyMax workers, if they want to.
If the "holes" will be patched I with great pleasure can show step-by-step how I made it.
- I am not a super Hacker / computer scientist or other wise guy sticked to monitor. I am just cleaver, and sometimes sitting on my biffy I got some new great ideas - technical side I assigned to my "zolls", to have certainty
of all tasks makeing right person, the best in this branch. That's why I choosed to publicate on this site, where are I have the nice and helpfull friends, on silkroad-online.pl
- Status of servers - populated is not related to our manifesto, its only coincidence. Yes, there is much less number of bots on the game, and the traffic is lower on about couple of percents. But there is too much short sessions of logins, it can be related to this list.
But i think, when we publicate next lists or JoyMax reaction, servers will be much more healthy.
Bots are the main thing, which is makeing lags, they are still contact to server, when the players left a stall, server do not contacting with him so much. Even if it's contacting it takeing much more less a server connection power, because its still going to next mob and attacking it, and next, and next etc. etc.
If JoyMax want to use my idea to "fix the lag" and server capacity, I can guarantee that server will be populated 24/7. I can bet for 1 billion gold. wink.gif
- At the moment no one via email not guess our sources, it will be better when it's will be not revealed till the end. I can only remind - I use 3 different sources, one of them is a imperfection of services where you can find a payable bot. I'll not reveal a details, because some persons related to bot, will respond faster then JoyMax.
All mentioned on this forum sources (sites/cracks/bots) are not true (three sources, two of them is occur on i-net in different versions, and on different places).
- Useing a accounts from list is not a breaking law in Poland, and JoyMax says: "everyone must care of himself".
Publication take place AFTER consulting with public prosecutor.
- First episode of action have to make some scare to all of this botters, if it doesnt work next step will be much more drastic.
- Yes I am a crafty fellow, I wanna gain some money from it. But all of work what I and my "zolls" do, is worth much more then this what we plan to gain. Maybe after all of it, we can meet together on some grill and drink some beer. Maybe it will meet debts.
- The mistake, what JoyMax have do with forum database is not our sources of information, but one of my "zolls" can show how to fix this critical security database hole. We not rake in MD5.
- Windmills are cool, and always someone must fight with them. smile.gif Some day, someone will destroy of windmills wings, we have to try, not just sit and waiting till our zeal is burn off.
