Game randomly closing without any warning or error message.

Post by Ninja_Monkey »

I've recently made myself a new pc,

Specs:

Asus M2N3-SLI Deluxe motherboard,
AMD 64 AM2 3800+ processor
2x Nvidia 7600GT xxx edition (linked with SLI)
2x Western Digital 250Gb Sata2 hard drives.
2Gb of DDR2 766Mhz ram (2 x 1Gb sticks)

So heres my problem.

After logging on, i'll play sometimes for 2 hours, and then the client will just randomly close. Its not always after X time which is why it's been confusing me. It's not putting any strain on the system, as im always constently playing at around 98 FPS both intown and around different areas.

When the client closes, it doesn't come up with any error message or any error log in the system log. I've just taken out one of my graphics cards and disabled SLI just to see if silkroad doesn't like scalable link interface.

Another thing i've tried was swapping the memory sticks from one port to the other 2 just to see if there was a fault on those sockets which was causing some form of error.

Does anyone know what might be wrong? or has anyone else had this problem? If yes, was you able to fix it someway?

I would be grateful for any time and advice you can spend.

Thanks,

Matt

Sorted the problem now, i had downloaded the latest Nvidia SLI drivers.
