Chrome Alert Will Help You Find Noisy Tabs

It's happened to all of us. You're working away with multiple browser tabs open when suddenly, the music, advertisement, or video begins.
You can hear it, but can't see it. You click around feverishly. Where is it coming from?! Make it stop!

Google feels your pain, and has thus added a feature to the beta version of Chrome that will help you find a noisy tab.

"With today's latest Chrome Beta release, you can now visually scan your tabs for a speaker icon to quickly find the offender," Google said in a blog post. "Chrome will also indicate which tabs are currently using your webcam or are being cast to your TV."

That's actually pretty handy. It has happened on numerous occasions and usually what I do is just close the whole browser in an instant lol. I have that mouse-to-top-right reflex.

Adblocker usually filters out most of the garbage but once in a while there's always one annoying ad that slips through the grid.
