Playing with your party members?

How do you play an instance with one of your friends or something like that? Or better yet, how can you even get to them when you're across the world? :S

When the servers are full and in overflow, you need to get to the same overflow.

You can do this by both leaving town at the same time, then using the waypoint. If you didn't get into the same overflow at the same time, you go back in and try again.

An even quicker way, if you have a hall of monument stone, is to just go to HOM and come back until you get in the same overflow.

The first 6 hours were rough, but now i'm always on the same overflow or it takes 1 HOM swap at most.

So if we were on the same server with no overflow, and he's in my party, I can just right click and invite him to my instance or something?

You're either on the server or the overflow (which can be many at this point). If by instance you meant your personal story then yeah he can join you.

Ahh I figured it out now.

I thought you could be in the same server, but different maps, and just right click on the character in the party and instantly teleport to them to join their instance, but I was wrong, you have to be on the same map, derpp.
