So im thinking of getting the game but im wondering if i should play the first one or can i jump straight into no. 2? Is the story connected? Am i gonna miss out on much?

From what I remember reading on srf it's not that big of a loss to jump to uc2. I still have to play it too even though I have my ps3 for several months now (bad xmoshe tsktsk, lol) and I'm not sure either. I think that when I'm gonna play it I will do the first one too, seems like a good idea to get some more info on the story and stuff =]

Yea true might see if i can pick up both games on ebay for a decent price. Also since uc3 is coming out later on in the year seems like a good idea to play both.

Thanks to this thread and my boredom during the vacation I ordered UC1 yesterday xD With a bit of luck I'll be able to play it later today. Paid 21.90 for it (euro that is), on most sites it was for 30 excl shipping so not bad I guess.

I'm playing atm and so far I don't really see why this game is so special. Yeah it already looks awesome and the climbing is fun but so far the shootouts are a huge, huge, HUGE turnoff. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I'm just a noob or I'm just failing to see that this is actually a shooter but every encounter I get 10+ enemies which won't even die with 1, 2 and sometimes even 3 Farking headshots. Like one time I got attacked by 6 guys, 1 with a grenade launcher, 3/4 with ak's and 1/2 with shotguns and I had no place to take cover. Like wtf? And I'm playing on normal, not even hard or something.

For now I'll just say that I'm approaching the battles the wrong way but oh well...

o_O I think your aim is off, pretty sure headshots were 1 hit kill for me when I last played UC. Still gotta get UC2 before they update to the lame "Greatest Hits" packaging.

Sometimes they do, often they dont. And yeah I'm fairly sure I can hit someones head when they are standing still >.< But it's not just that, sometimes they eat almost a whole clip of an ak/m4 what ever before they drop. Pretty annoying. And well I just finished it. From about 19.00 to 2.30, didn't feel like I blasted through it but even with the million retries it's only like 1-1.5 hours longer than black ops campaign rofl.

The game wasn't bad but some things ruined it for me. Oh well, better luck with UC2.

In all honesty I found those monsters a fail too, but what can ya do lol
