Str Bower

I'm having trouble deciding on what build to choose for my bower. I know its been discussed plenty of times on here and I've read past topics but I still cant decide. The choices are above in the poll. I feel like buying speed pots all the time would get extremely annoying/expensive so I kind of wanted lightning, but then again I also dont want a build that every other bower has. I was thinking about going with force but I'm not sure if Holy word resists all those skills? Help me out please, thanks.

Unless they changed it holy word/spell stops every debuff except the first two and the last (which are ar/parry reduce and stun).

It really depends on what you will focus on. Pvp? Group pvp? Grind? Uniques? Every build is best for a certain type of playstyle. Also the light/ice combo is cheaper sp wise so if you don't like to farm it is a decent option.

I guess I'm going for mainly PVP/Group PVP. I don't want want a whole tree or majority of a tree canceled out by just 1 skill..so I don't think I'm going force. Also, watching youtube vids I see that they can get resisted quite often even without holyword and I just dont see that worth it. I'm leaning towards Pach, Fire, Ice I think. I also plan on wearing Protector by the way, regardless of my build unless there is a better option.

Go for it, sounds pretty solid. Although the succes rate on the debuffs is pretty good when it is up to lvl. The problem with the debuffs is that they are upgraded once every 10 lvl's, so when you pvp at lvl 99 and only have the lvl 90 debuffs it is obviously they will fail quite often. But then when you turn lvl 100 and have the lvl 100 debuffs they will work atleast 80% of the time (as given by the description) and even more than that. This is coming from a lvl 100 force archer ;]

But you are right, if you plan on doing more group pvp than 1 on 1 I would say go for Ice. It will give you insane phy def as well as ice wall and even ice imbue if you have the sp, are willing to spend the sp on it.
