Its always a no no in the UK. If you mean stuff like Cat c etc.
Insurance is loads and you risk your car crumpling if you touch something.

Re: salvage cars
Usually you don't buy a car with a salvage title if you're planning on ever reselling it or trading it in. In a lot of cases the insurances will be the same price as any other car, you just won't get much out of it if it's wrecked again. Another thing... Since I'm a part time mechanic and my brother is full time, we can go look at the damage that was done and tell whether or not to buy it, not everyone can. So you really have to make sure the body shop that repaired the car did it by the book. If you buy it and the frame is bent... you're gonna have constant problems.
I dk what you meant by "your title" but you cannot ever make it a clean title.

Re: salvage cars
As you are buying a used car, you likely won't have to pay as much for collision and comprehensive coverage. That said, your rates for liability coverage may be just as high as they would be for a new car. After all, in a collision, a used car can do just as much damage to people and property as a new car can.

There's no harm in buying a salvage car. The only thing is that, you have to get it inspected form a mechanic before purchasing.

So buying a used car is cheaper on coverage compared to buying a brand new car?
Can't tell if bot or not.
