Bicheon/Heuksal - Any good?

Hi guys, I'm currently making a new char. Since my first char was a blader (a long time ago), I wanted to make a new one and since the cap has been raised numerous times since i first started playing I don't know what a good blader build is

At first I was just gonna go with

Bich 110, Light 110, Fire 110 (imbue)

But as I remember bladers lvl really slow since their low dmg so i thought to myself "What if i go with Heuksal aswell?"

So is it worth gettin Heuksal aswell? I'll get more HP and will be able to hunt much faster.

The builds i'm thinking about making is:

1) Bich/Heuksal/Light

2) Bich/Heuksal/Fire

3) Bich/Fire/Light


Questions I have!

1) Is it better to go with Bich/Heuksal or as a pure blader?

2) While hunting with a blader, how much slower is it then lets say a bow at with the same set?

3) Is it more beneficial to hunt mobs higher your lvl or lower? (High exp, slow killrate vs Low exp high killrate)

Last question, is it worth going Bicheon/Heuksal?

My Opinion they are Both good , Leveling Pure Blader? Takes u Ages!!! I have tried and i gave up lol

2) While hunting with a blader, how much slower is it then lets say a bow at with the same set?
Like i said on First question blader is very slow .. and archer is fast like Pure Int Chars well almost :p , lets say U kill in 1Minute 10mobs with blader u can kill 20with Archer
3) Is it more beneficial to hunt mobs higher your lvl or lower? (High exp, slow killrate vs Low exp high killrate)
Depends are u killing fast or slow , if ur wizz u can go 5levels higher then u and can kill fast but as blader u waste ur time better kill ur level mobs

Last question, is it worth going Bicheon/Heuksal?
yes it is But remember it ASK alot of SP also Do u know how to play Bich/Heuksel Char ? My advice go Heuksel first when u reach cap start farming or farm from the start at ONGS Goodluck i hope i helped

First, thank you for the very helpful post And second, no i don't know how to play a Bich / Heuksal char I've never had a glavie and it was 4 years since i last played a blader ^^

And btw, all the high lvl bladers, how did the manage to get so high? I'm thinking, even if they use bot it must have takem them like 1 year from 90-100 :S Am I right?

you will definitely have more fun playing a bich/heuksal, wether full farmed or not.
It is just more versatile than a pure biheon build, you can switch from tanker to damage dealer
anytime you want, and the extra hp is quite beneficial for tanking as well.
You will be able to combine the bicheon debuffs and heuksal to gain even more damage and knockdown will help when you're out of ideas or almost out of hp.

It is true that bladers rank last in killing speed, but not as gravely behind bow/heuksal as generally assumed.

i tested the killing speed on my glaiver vs a blader in the donwang caves long time ago.
the conditions were:
-both lvl 68 ff
-no drop picking (1)
-drop picking (2)
-killing time about 10 minutes
-zerk exlusively for giants

for (1):
-glaiver about 12 kills per minute
-blader about 7 kills per minute

for (2):
-glaiver about 9 kills
-blader about 5 kills

of course the bladers downside was the lower damage->lower kill count,
especially with giants involved.
But the glaiver lost a bit more time with droppicking, clearly because he had more to pick.

But nevertheless: not a grinders friend

If you have a pickup pet, concentrate on mobs you can kill in 2 skills as a blader, that is normally a chain+smash or knockdown.
Those mobs normally start 2-3 levels below your own, depending on your weapon of course

If you dont have a pickup pet, kill monsters you need 3 skills for (2 with the occasional crit)
Thats going from your level to about 1-2 above your level

Choose what you like more. Dual weapons are cool, but theres a downside, you need loads of SP, and gold for more weapons.
Regular chinese can be cool too.

If i was u i would go for Glavie or Bow ... Blader is for ppl who are patient and use alot of silks . U always can lvl up with Archer and then change ur build to Blader it will Cost u Silks or Much time to gain Cursed Hearths

I think it's best for you to go bich/heuksal, but then I recommend to take plvl at ongs or farm at a place where the spawn rate is high and on a lvl u can afford sos weapons. Bich/heuksal requires a lot of sp, so you have to realise that you will have to farm a crapload of SP. If that's no problem for you, go dual . Way more fun + it's original.

i am now making a bicheon/pacheon for almost the same reasons

Though im slow so only lvl 20 and with only pach/fire. and yes its a lot faster to grind with bow than blade. lets say a bow will kill in 2-3 hits what a blade will kill in 5-6 hits and the range means less walking which is especially good without light/pots.

I would say its quite worth it to go bich/huek I've seen some vids of the build in pvp and it seems pretty nice. A friend has it on ZSZC and says its pretty awesome as long as gear is not a big factor
