Was talking with a buddy of mine and we noticed that Blizz usually announces release dates in September.

Keep in mind that Blizzard didn't announce it because the release can still be postponed, but as far as I know the target release date for Cataclysm is the first week of November (that would be November 2, if you like numbers). The first part of the Cataclysm prologue started exactly 8 weeks before that and the next part of the pre-Cataclysm event will probably happen in 2 or 4 weeks depending on their schedule.

Hey guys, long time no browse/post. i'm actually looking forward to the focus change with hunters. should make things a little more interesting. not to hijack the thread or anything but... how's the community, i still see a lot of silliness going on in the OTL so at least that's not changed.

Things are.. well.. are i guess.

OTL is still silly, i havent stepped in anything SRO related in well over a year now, so i dont know whats going on in that side, OTL and other games is home, and i still like the community, although we have some blacksheeps in OTL. but meh, every family has its wildcard

This is terrible. No raids because people do not want to login to clear icc which is understandable. I don't really have the time to play due to University, but still, whenever I log to raid we just cancel it. Doing achievements, hardcore farming, playing with alts became boring. Doing the same stuff every single week is way too monoton. I've started to play some arenas on my shaman, just to spend my time somehow. I think I'm not alone with this. Blizzard should do something to keep us busy because at this point wow sucks balls. Not like Cataclysm will change anything. Only a failure expansion can follow a failure expansion. Wow died after TBC for me, but it is still by far the best mmorpg. Since I can't change things there is no reason to start whining.

How do you guis spend your pre-expansion time?

I doubt Diablo 3 will be released in 2011. I'd say 2013, since SC2's next disc will be in 2012.

Be glad Activision has no interference (or almost no interference) with Blizzard. Otherwise Diablo 3 would be out early 2011, and would be half the size it'll end up being, SC2 would be p2p online, and Cataclysm would be out already and none of the raids would work.

I dono, Dec 7th looks pretty plausible.. With 2 month of dev, and PTRs already at 4.0.3. I wouldnt be too surprised if Dec 7th turned official!
