Need help falling asleep
So lately I've been going to sleep at around 3-4 a.m. but Friday I got a call that they will need me to go to work tomorrow and I tried going to bed at 12 a.m last night but I just ended up tossing and turning until around 3. So, do you guys know of any ways that help you fall asleep?

Get some sleeping pills or some kind of sleeping aid. We have Nytol in England which is a natural sleeping aid. Not sure what it would be called elsewhere.

um, music, do something exhausting ( fap, or w/e you do ) beforehand, and its suppose to be easier to sleep when it is cooler in your room

Cooler room helps a lot with sleeping easier. Myself, I like to play videogames or do something active right before I go to sleep. Not too active mind you, so I don't become wired.

lets say you will sleep at 9 pm.. go clean your house or what ever at 7 or 8 until you feel tired .. take a warm shower go to bed ;]

Stop sleeping past noon, be active during the day, fap at night, get off the computer an hour before you want to sleep, watch tv (or read) in that hour.
Also, don't use your bed unless you are trying to get to sleep (psychological thing). This means don't do homework, watch tv in the middle of the day, etc on your bed.

I know how you feel,I was caught in that "vicious cycle" a week ago. That one night I decided to not sleep,then for the next 5 days I kept waking up at 4:00 PM,day wasted
Even if I wanted to sleep at 2:00 AM,my eyes woudn't close till about 6:30 AM because my body didn't want to sleep(because I kept waking up at 4:00 PM).

Doing hard activity right before isn't the solution (like going for a run or working out). It raises core body temperature and makes it take longer for you to get into a deep sleep resulting in less refreshment. Being active during the day helps..but that's not always the plan. Put a movie on low volume and watch it until you sleep, or fap. Either way.

If he needs a quick fix to get his ass to fall asleep at a reasonable time, then taking a 5mg melatonin table is fine. I'm not recommending an addictive OTC or prescription sleep medication here that he could become dependent on. Melatonin is produced naturally to make you sleepy, a small dose to facilitate drowsiness will not harm you in anyway. (in b4 comparison to "test" is natural, wut bout roids1!)
Obviously, proper diet, exercise etc is the best method. But to get things rolling, a little kick in the butt (melatonin) may be the ticket, especially when stuck in this sort of sleep cycle.
Knock yourself out two nights in a row with some melatonin at a reasonable time and the rest will fall in place. You'll wake up earlier, have a longer day, and thus be more inclined to fall asleep at a reasonable time. From there try to stay in that rhythm and adjust your diet and exercise if you feel you need to.

I've had the same problems for months. In the end, the doctor gave me a very light form of sleeping pills, but they worked. Took them for a month, just to get into my normal sleeping rhytm, and now I can sleep pretty well without any sleeping pills.
Pills I took could only be received with a doctors prescription, so maybe you should go to your doctor and ask some kind of sleeping pills or other medicine. Of course don't take it too long, before you can't sleep without them anymore.

Melatonin is harmless and is actually not really a sleeping medicine, but something to 'reset' your internal clock. You use it with a jet lag for example.

I'd recommend eating chocolate. Or even better: Warm up some milk and dip your chocolate in the milk so you can lick it off.

If I have trouble sleeping, I grab for the chocolate.
