Retards in Randoms

So I've been leveling my hunter and priest recently due to bordem and I've had alot of morons... Last night on my 71 hunter I had UK for about the 10th time.

I enter the instance...

First thing the warrior says:
"If you overaggro you'll die seeing i won't taunt it off you!"

The priest immediatly jumps in with:
"And i'm not going to heal anyone else then the tank so be a nub means die"

I let this sink for a few seconds, thinking how to respond.. Then know there's only one true way to do so.

I misdirect the first pack to the priest while we're still buffing.

The warrior is now forced to taunt, or his healer will die. And the healer? well he was spam healing himself, even though he was not the tank..
After the pack of mobs died i told them: "I'm sorry but i'm out, breaking promises within 10 secs won't work for me"

Most randoms will be stupid, it's just a fact of life. It's probably due to the fact that for a lot of these players, WOW is their first MMO, or RPG at all, so they will generally be pretty clueless. Put this together with the idiocy of some people and you've got a recipe for success!

Sick and tired of doing my daily on my hunter nad having a tank who can't hold aggro for crap, and I think I've finished facepalming enough at Frost DK tanks DWing Rimefang's Claw.

Running reg VH had a random with a tank that never been in there before. He didnt catch on that he should be waiting at the portals for the mobs to spawn. Of all the bosses to get we got the etheral dude the one that you need to kite oh joy remember tank had never run VH before. As expected he tanking him in place even after the orbs spawn and one is right on him. Me and the healer are on the stairs so I deathgrip the boss and start kiting him thank god the healer was good we got him down.

Randoming with my orc warrior alt at the moment, and theres always someone yelling

I've got all BoA stuff, more hp than any tank I've seen in randoms thus far, more aggro than any of them (in battle stance) so I thought, might as well queue as tank, because otherwise I'll piss tanks off overaggroing. And now this, luckily, it only happens once every 5 or so randoms(and it's always a rogue complaining, maybe its a trend?).

Same here. Personally, it gets boring when you have a 50k, ICC decked out tank in randoms. Although, it is amusing to blast through AN in under 10 mins.

Oh it's so convenient though. Tank on follow. Hit beacon every once in a while to refresh it. Sacred shield and fol. Maybe Holy Shock if he takes a few hits.

It's funny at low lvls:

Holy Paladin tanking with cloth

Wandering mages

Hunter pets that pull a second boss (this happened to me today)

Warlocks who don't know they have spells and wand everything

People in full heirloom items that think they are the god of low lvls and run off alone to die. After this they will blame the healer who decided to stay with the person who queued as the tank.

I've finally decided to continue leveling my priest. Bought dual spec for him. He is disc/shadow at the moment. Disc is much more fun for me than holy. Anyway what I really hate about this new system is that, you can sign as a tank even if you are not one. For example there are tons of retri paladins in heirlooms who think that RF is good enought to tank. Yes that's true for keeping your aggro, but without a shield it's a little bit hard to heal it through. If I get a decent tank I can keep him up with a shield and renew, but if I get a tank like the one mentioned before I have to spam flash heal as hard as I can and sometimes pain suppression goes away on trashes.

Randomed into OCC today. I love OCC, its quick and easy and theres extra loot, no one besides me is about 5kGS so i was doing about 50% of the DPS which is fine cause at least everyone was trying, but then...

The healer AFKs on separate platform, the other DPS aggros three blue drakes and then just sits there while they kill him not even bother to time stop, the tank lands and ignoring everything pulls the boss and dies..i die too. The healer dies and walks back and the other DPS still alive aggros 3 more drakes to him and the healer, healer leaves DPS dies. I haven't ressed or walked back yet because im waiting for the shenanigans to be over.

New healer shows up, everyone is alive except for me waiting on the boss platform for a res. On his way up the healer aggros 2-3 drakes and is fighting them off while the tank once again engages the boss without a healer present and nearly dies. I could Anhk but really, would you? So i didn't and afterwards the tank goes "lol here for free badges" and im like "i've been doing all the DPS and putting up with everyones badness without complaint, plz hop off my nuts" and he starts going on about how im too geared to say stuff like that etc etc then the healer blames me for not getting up and helping them kill the boss and eventually i get kicked...

and the tank sends me a typical pm "NOOB" and then puts me on ignore...

I used to tank with 19-21k hp in heroics without any problem. Of course HoR is something that you can't tank with that amount of hp but the old ones can easily be done. You can call a tank undergeared if he or she doesnt have the def cap for hcs and some avoidance. You do not have to qq if something takes more than 20 minutes.

For me, it's because I don't want to be pulling off as soon as I start attacking. I also don't want to have to wait until the mob is half dead for the tank to get enough aggro so that I don't pull off.

The most unpleasant experiences I had with the random dungeon finder was in Razorfang downs. For some reason the tank thought he should never stop pulling and would make us attempt to fight battles with way too many monsters at once. Eventually, we wiped because he got way too far ahead of everyone and attempted to solo a huge group alone. Oddly, the only person who started complaining about the wipe was him. He then proceeded to spam vote kick on the healer even though it repeatedly failed. I guess some jackass in the group got tired of saying no to the vote kick and kicked out the healer. The tank starts pulling AGAIN without the healer. We wiped again and the tank starts crying about how we sucked and rage quits. A new healer and tank join and we proceeded to finish the instance without any problems.

I present to you the Jeacke Effect, and the events that happened during todays VoA 10. We had heard rumors of this guy and his "methods", but i never knew they were so spot on. Till today:

It starts with a simple question. Do you know the fights?


After constant "reminding" me that he knows the fights later. He was told that i, in our <Urmas Tonah> run would be tanking as MT, well this did not fly with him.



Then when i asked him to stay on me during Meteor Fists on the fire boss, he had to make sure we understood his "authority"


So,
My suggestion. IF you want to save urself from extreme facepalm syndrome with a side of rofl, i say that this guy be "accidently overlooked" for your next raid. I dont mean this to be a shot a Jeacke. He does know content and the fight, but Andorhal sides with me when they say tooo many Wipes have been caused by him
