Laptop 4 gig ram?
So I'm getting a laptop with Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit is 4GB ram enough? Or should I go for the 6GB option?

If you've got the cash, I'd get the 6GB.

Try to get DDR3, that's more important IMHO.

This.
4gigs is good enough now. 6 is better, but I don't think you'll notice a difference even in the future. This is all assuming you don't do heavy work like CAD or video editing. DDR3 is what you need to look for.

what i like to say is,
