8800 GTS Bloom/HDR Lighting Problem

I googled around and stuff and it seems difficult for a right response, I even saw one from here but it was long dead, as you saw this is for my cousins new pc, and i installed silkroad for him and in any form i activate Bloom it majorly glitches, im assuming it does it to other games since I saw problems on google. Any solutions?

i had a 8800 gts ssc edition for a year and it played sro fine. drivers updated, windows updated? this is just for bloom setting? everything else works?

I had the same issue with my 8800gt and never found a fix. I just played without bloom since it was annoying either way

yes everything else works great, i've been through 2 drivers (latest too) and they both didnt work I dont know now bout windows? is htere a specific update?

hell i don't know, dx9 up to date? maybe this card just can't support bloom, some kind of architectural f*ck up? but that sounds like a pretty big f*ck up! so if it don't work at the end of the day try RMA on the card

i had the same problem on my 8800gts also. it went away eventually though i can't recall what i did though.

I dont have a GTS but a 8800gt and bloom/hdr works fine for me, never had any problems. I'd say its the drivers even though you tried other ones.

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS, everything works just fine.

Lol I figured it out If any of u had the problem, on ur nvidia control panel, allow antialiasing to app control so it wil work lol good luck
