Need Help! Searching for the name of this game! *Oldie*

Trying to surprise my gf with an old fav game of hers. She doesn't remember the name, except that the main character was a gray mouse. You were in a house, and you traveled from room to room and each room had a diff story book *this part she's not sure of*. This was for PC and was on those HUGE floppy disk, not the small ones. I'm trying to find a copy of the game, but I need to know the name first. Anyone else out there remember this game and can get me the name of it? Help appreciated.

GF mentioned it started off with mouse wearing blue overalls. But as he entered a diff storybook his clothes would change. Like armor if it was a story with a knight.

She thinks it was from early-mid 90's. I'm pretty sure i can find a work-a-round to run it. She says she played it on Windows 3.1... lmao...
