Question about bicheon skills

Post by qezue »

I'm tryna save some SP so I want only one "lure-skill" on my blader. But I dunno which one to choose. Should I take the Blade Force Series or the Sword Dance Series?

If u want only to lure then Blade Force.
But if u want to do more damage on it too then Sword Dance.
Blade Force takes less sp, but it does less damage and only hits on 1 mob, but the stronger ones do 2hits.
Some Sword Dance skills hit several targets so u can lure more mobs, but it only hits once.

If you want to lure ONLY, take the blade force series, AND get level 1 of the first two sword dances. Though if you can get the SP, definitely max the sword dance series too, because it's awesome.

Yea well it takes a lot of time to walk from mob to mob, so I rather have a kinda strong distant skill to get them to me. What would be better for solo grinding?

Thanks for the replies so far.

In that case, I'd recommend the opposite of what I said; take the sword dances, and get the level 1 cut blade. With this you'll actually do some damage. I suggested the cut blades earlier because I though you'd pvp as well some time, and that has its uses there. In pve it only lures a single mob with small-mid damage, so the dances would be better.

I do pvp, but that's in the long run. I wanna get to lv 60-70 first before I start pvping. What's so good about the Blade Force Series in Pvp?

Blade Force Series is good when you have 2 hits. A decent damage, with 2 probability of crit :)

It's like the lion shout for nukers; a quick finisher. It can also be used to get something in when all your other skills are on cooldown. You can do that little bit of extra damage on running enemies with it. Oh, and blade force+wizards=fun for the whole family.

I think I'll just get them both then.. Speaking of force..that would be my next question.
You see, someone gave this char to me as an archer w/ a lot of sp. Because I already had my own archer, I switched it to a blader. The problem is that 100 bich / 100 fire / 80 light / 20 cold, isn't the best blader build. But I can't choose between force and cold. Could you help me choose?

In fact, 80 light/ 20 cold is the best all-around blader build, meaning it can do pve, group and 1v1 pvp. 100 bicheon/fire/cold is much more pvp-oriented, and functions best in group fights. 100 bicheon/fire/force is very good at 1v1 pvp, and can resurrect and debuff others in groups. fire/cold and fire/force are both hardly grindable because of the lack of lightning (unless you buy speed potions all the time).

Hmmm, haven't thought about the grinding part of those cold/force builds. Maybe it would be better if I'd stick to light until higher levels, I could always delevel light later, since it's already leveled up anyway.
