crashes when i pick "restart" after pressing escap

before few weeks agao, i could restart fine and switch to a new character, but now the entire client shuts down and somtimes doesnt give me any error message, sometimes it gives me the ???? msg. But each time now i get booted back to window, while the computer is workign like mad on soemthing, and it takes like 10 minutes each freaking time.
help

same here......I reckon that it s due to the lagg.....By a lot of ppl logging in to the game........It happens to me too sometimes when I use the return scroll.......
