that's two full days
i havent seen any bot and you?
certainly no gold bot
player bots i'm not so sure

anyway joymax has done something right

of course knowing their track record it would be most silly to hope that this could last

but still... isnt it weird? refreshing? surprising? (notice that i didnt say nor think "full of promises")

and did you guys hear about the botters? did they say they got temp-banned?
i dont know, i havent kept contact with the dudes

apparently there was just 1 bot that was free to use, and they changed it to pay to use , logged in firs time this morning to

servers still populated!!

sheesh, how do people know about these bots? I didn't know a darn thing before I came here and started searching the forums and Rev6. And I figured out which bot you're talking about and which ones are working too.

oinktopic: glad goldbots are banned, but there are still spambots everywhere :banghead:

something i came accros on an other forum about the recently banning spree

so my workmate is responsible for banning bots and illegal usage ..

bots use somekinda optimistic codes that control the game .. those codes are made by somekinda editor .. that edites UP-Codes sent to the Game server...
so.. every game connects to it's server through a port .. it's also known as BrutePort. in my company .. we use 158.155.1~9
// as PoisonG4s told me .. joymax uses ~~`.~~~.~~.26~30..
so ,, we know the original codes which ends with ***654832
so.. bot must change it to take control .. so it changes to 6548220~229
..
the problem is.. sometimes the server gets laggy .. and send the information wrong.. like 65482545***
this makes us get nervous.. so we ban the sending ip.. that may cause " BANNING SPREE "
that's what joymax made.. as i know .. joymax created it's servers since 1999.. so they got oldy and laggy...
another evidence.. the newly made server " helios " is still crowded . why ? because it's newly made.. and it's impossible to get wrong codes from it..

Maybe I'm just reading too much into this. Aion comes out in less than a week. The populated servers is probably a desperate move by JM to keep and maybe gain players.

lol aion sucks..not my style of gameplay its just a better WoW, go play the beta and try it for yourself...that game is not even going to phase silkroad, lmfao..so funny how everyone is convinced on that already..

I've played it and I like it. To each his own I suppose. The game already harnessed 3.5 million players from Japan, China, and Korea, now making it the second largest P2P MMO.

SRO doesn't need to be phased out - it already has. With the current populated server, it can't even generate 100k players. LOL.

ja, I played on a private server just to test it out yesterday.. game is beautiful. Definitely buying it soon. Dunno if I'll still play SRO too..
BTW SRO has over 30k players; but probably less than 100k. (Rev6 current live viewers last time servers were facked) that's pretty bad for an MMO.
Aion already has a lot more. and I already know of a lot on my server going to Aion.
