SRO Video ~ Sony Vegas Question

Post by TheSlink »

Hello all!!

Basically, im making my new sony vegas video... and i want it to be better.
In many pvp videos i have seen that zoomed in, but have cut out the Hp/Mp bar and moved it ino the new widescreen area so you can see it.. as i would be cut off normaly..

I have NO IDEA what it is called, i just need to know the technical name in Sony Vegas so i can make a search on YouTube for a tutorial..

I hope i can a quick reply ^^

Thank you!

i use final cut pro.. but its probably the same.
so you have the video clip in the timeline..
copy it and paste it on top of the first clip.
so now you have 2 of the same video clips in the time line.
on top of each other.
now edit the first clip how you want it. [cropped so all the stats, and hp/mp bars are out.]
then crop the second video clip with just the Mp/Hp stat bars
now in the canvas you adjust the two cropped video clips so that the clip 2 is on top of the other clip [aka the mp/hp stat bars are now in the frame.. [you can see them]]
