Need free Firewall

My norton 360 firewall has expired and I don't have any money to renew it. is there any good free firewall? I really need to find one asap.

Just get the free download. Even though it says it comes with antivirus and proactive security (which is superb) you can select to only get the firewall during installation.

I'm quite happy with it, the only thing you absolutly have to do is shut off the defence+ security once installed. That stuff blocks you from doing pretty much anytihng on your computer.

Just have to install, and that is the best free protection you can get.
Just need to turn off the D+, because it spams for every action made on your computer.

It's only annoying the first 5 minutes after install, just turn off the alerts.

comodo is nice too, just never got around to switching from sygate since i havent had problems

um... so that article just points out that installing comodo also offers to change your homepage and asks if you want to install a toolbar?

not exactly something to worry about, just say no and continue installation

kerio is also a decent firewall but i'd probably stick to comodo if not for sygate
kerio is sunbelt firewall now i think
