i have a Wireless-G boradband router with speedbooster
model:WRT54GS
im trying to do this using a cable modem one of the question said if i wanna replace my old router i guess it was talking about my cable model i pressed no i want to use both at same time
so i follow the guide the linkys router comes with even gave them a call and did there instructions btw didnt talk to a person it was a step by step machine guide it even said hold the reset button 30 sec something regular guide doesnt have i did everything i can it doesnt work
btw on the last setup before it can actually work it says connect the router to power outlet i do then i see a new internet connection pop up on network connections it like pops up then goes away then repeatsim guessing no signal strength ?? i see the WLAN lights blinking but the power light stays on then i just get installation error with some number forgot to write it down but yea pretty much failed i need some help asap need to connect a laptop to the internet using this its not for me but for someone living with me (feels like an idiot trying and failing on and on)
