URGENT! Will a paladin be up to the job in Legend IV?

Post by One_of_many_thoughts »

I like being a paladin(warrior/cleric) build. It's what I like the best and after 4 years of playing I finally figured out that that's what I wanted to be. However just recently I looked at the Legend IV update and I saw that the warrior is not getting anything but new armor and weapons. The other build I was looking at was a full str bowman(not sure on which element masteries) and they, like the other chinese, are getting overhauled in the update. So does this mean that a warrior will be left in the dust when it comes to fighting chinese characters, especially bowman? Does this mean that I'll have to be a chinese to be decent? Please post immediately, this is urgent!

just because chinese are getting new skills doesn't mean warrior will be left out. By the time you reach lv 100 they will probally already have new skills out for warrior anyway. I wouldn't stress about it, just play what ever build you like.

Why even bother opening this topic when you already know what it is?
Why even bother writing in this topic?

Just leave it be. I bet many people are interested in the developement of the Warrior/Cleric build for the 100-cap.

No offence, but I hope that's not true! I'd like to get some new skills for at least the warrior. Or even new buffs for the cleric would be nice.

Skill books will stay exactly like they are at 90 cap, though you'll improve them, but all euro skills will stay exactly the same if I recall it correctly. On the other hand, chinese will get new and improved skills.

Well, bower will be pwning because:
KB(1) -> Anti-Devil-Bow series -> KB(2) -> Strong-Bow series -> KB(1) -> Explosion arrow series -> REAPEAT
That will pwn :roll:

Good luck killing someone like that.
All you're doing is wasting time, arrows and the opponents pots.
you need to do at LEAST three consecutive bow attacks, without KB, to be able to kill a pure STR. And that's only if two or three are crits.
Someone make me an Aion-related sig and I will give you 5 dollhairs.

yea, that's the problem I had with bowman. When it came down to fighting another full str class, especially chinese, the only way to be good is hitting a crit, and I'm sorry, I know bowman hit more crits, but they don't hit them enough to kill someone quickly in every fight, and they could just keep useing hp pots until you either run out of arrows or run out of hp pots yourself. And lets not forget that chinese can go thru mp pots pretty quickly as it is, so you'll be going thru those too.

well first of all you cant honestly make any comments about a bowmans skill at high leves because you have never played as a high level bowman or even a decent leveled bowman lol and ++ with the euro pot delay you CAN take a full str euro && a bowman if he has a halfway decent bow which isnt that expensive crits ALOT more than euros and other chinese builds it depends on the crit on you bow and besides the bow you had was a POS bowman because its only like level 20 something and its not like he is in full SUN
