Horrible Graphic problems on PC
My gf and I have been playing SRO for a while now, and everythings been perfectly fine, except a couple of days ago it started screwing up on her. At first, the game would just freeze every so often. Now, we can't even get past the login screen because it chops so badly, and the graphics are so damaged. I reinstalled the game, updated the correct graphics and video cards, made sure we had the required Direct X and the other things required to play SRO. I figured we'd always be fine because we've been playing for months, so idk what the problem is. I even did a system restore. Does anyone else know whats up? Nothing else is wrong with her PC, it's only SRO. Thanks in advance.

I can only imagine how nice it would be to play same game with gf
But are sure that her graphic card is not damaged? Over heated or something
If you can't solve the problem you can always take her computer to professional repair. (By professional i mean that someone with education for that would check it out)

Re: Horrible Graphic problems on PC
I suppose I an pull her computer out and make sure the card isn't damaged. Like I said, we've been playing for a while and there's never been a problem until recently, kind of random.
Interestingly enough, at the same time it looks like her monitor has been refreshing itself too often. It always blacks out for a second, but I'll look further into it. Thanks for the advice, and I'd love some more if anyone has any.

Re: Horrible Graphic problems on PC
the monitor is easy to check
just exchange monitors
if she has no problems and you do then the monitor is bad

If it's the card you can check it out by using ctl+alt+del and look at the performances. If you see huge spikes everytime that the screens freezes it's more than probably a failing graphic card.
