int hybrid bow? (PvE)

Post by nightmare0 »

I was just wondering how effective a 1:2 int hybrid bow wearing garment is for pve. If it's not that great, could you please provide a good bow build besides pure str.

Why dont you make it 2:1 STR?
It would be great both for PvP & PvE.

90 Pacheon / 90 Fire / 60 Light / 60 Ice.
Thats what I'd do.

why 60 light/ice? also i just thought that being more int balance would do more damage.

Pure INT bow is probably the best bow build at PvE, only because of the highest damage. It'd maybe have problems with survivability, then going slightly hybrid, like 1:5-1:8 heavy int would be more.. eh, advisable, I believe.

I agree, but you'd probably have trouble when 100 cap comes out. :P

^100 Pacheon / 90 Fire / 60 Ice / 50 Light?
I know that its hybridized a bit, so the damage would come from imbue, but I dont think the differnece would be that big? Now,would it?

That hybrid would have ~ 100 int points at 100 cap. I think the difference would not be BIG, but still way bigger than the difference of the pure STR. I doubt it's worth going with a lower lvl imbue. And, I don't advise going with 60cold/50light. It's buffs would be extremely weak, try comparing the buffs of cold 60 with cold 100. From cold 90 to cold 60, it's a 314% difference. Imagine to 100. For a hybrid STR 2:1, I'd say go with 100pacheon/100fire/70-100cold/0-30light, I think, would have to give it more thought anyways.

Because it'd be more balanced for 90 cap when using a hybrid str 2:1. Good enough phy def and snow shield with good enough speed and mobility. It'd probably be the "best" at 90 cap.

I'd go pure int because your average damage output will be massive which means more damage and quicker killing which equals to faster PvE amd faster experience/skill points. Plus your imbue will do massive damage and nukes will also be a bonus.
