What do JM mean here?

I was looking at the item mall on http://www.silkroadonline.net. I got a bit confused when reading the description for Advanced Defense Gender Switch Tool. This is what it says:

• Changes the gender requirement of defenses up to the 7th~9th Degree
• Only usable on 9th Degree armor.

Is this ony typo or what?

It changes the gender from male to female, or female to male for defensive equipment of degree 7, degree 8, or degree 9. I know because I've used it. "Only usable on 9th Degree armor." is a typo.
