I got Illustrator and was playing around with it :]]

Need tips on Illustrator also pen-tooling there is a little different from Photoshop

And the Twirl tool is like exaggerated how do I tone it down?

Just follow along, everything helps especially the guide at the end.

Oh and BTW for the twirl tool just double click it in the tools tray to bring up the options for it
you can do that for pretty much all of them
