Re: Arabic interest
not really, English is much harder, the hardest part of learning Arabic is the accent, since most Americans/Europeans cant say some letters we have.

Re: Arabic interest
Well im hispanic and we have some pronunciations and stuff, english is really easy to learn, you sure arabic is easier? the thing with the english is that it became the main language for everything and i guess everyone learns it like it or not. and also its an Anglosajonic (not sure about this word) language it got an easy base since it doesnt have as much verbs and derivations as other language does ex: spanish

Re: Arabic interest
Arabic is actually pretty hard to learn unless your getting professional help. Chinese and Japanese are pretty hard as well. This is mainly do to our in-ability to pronounce the sounds correctly.

Re: Arabic interest
well alot of people in america or countries beside middle east have only english keyboards, so we we have to replace some numbers with letters that arent in the english alphabet.

Letters that aren't pronounced the same way as you'd write in English, because you can basically write the corrupted version of Arabic in English letters with some numbers here and there (by corrupted I mean non-proper, like Egyptians speak kind of like a slang of proper Arabic, proper Arabic I would say is hard to learn, its like kinda shakesphere for English. Like the Quran is written, which is not the same as the Arabic as we Egyptians speak..) . Like '7' is "ahhh" kinda, like the name "Ahmed" (which most people will pronounce "aAKHXmed"), it could also be written as a7med. The reason why its a '7' and not a '4' for example is simply because it kinda looks like the like the actual letter in the Arabic alphabet. Here is what '7' looks like ﺣ or ﺡ (capitals).
I hope that made sense.

Some languages are harder than Arabic, especially to speak. Not so hard to write. Best way to learn a Language is to move to their country, and basically force it upon yourself, you'll pick it up pretty easily. My Serbian friends picked English up quite well after a year, after we told him Hi means Fcuk and whatnot.
