Ok but what is it?

The Aldors and the Scryers are two opposing factions in Shattrath City. There's a story behind that too if you want to read on it.

But the essence is if you side with one, you make enemy with the other. Each has their own different rewards for behind honored, revered and exalted. Check the rewards lists on WoW main website. (thought their rewards are mostly useless.)

You can choose which faction you want make ally with at an introduction quest by chatting with figure in the middle of of Shattrath city circle to start this quest.

exactly. it's better then the 48 epic one. well IMO that is. the 48 one is a shadow dagger max -71 dmg or w/e.
