light book 3 is more of a pvp nuke then a grinding nuke, and I believe it is up to 6 times with 80% kb per.

So even if you hit the max 6 that is only 246%....which makes it lower then all your other nukes, only a desperation move in pve and your leadoff attack vs every str player in pvp.

Looks cool when your in dw south and you can shift huge portions of the players around though :D

i'm pure wizard still lvl 30, i just want to know if it would be ok to have warlock passive skills?like dark seed and red flower passive skills?
will my wizard magic dmg increase by 4%?
plz i really need help...

Im not 100% sure but i think lock passives only work to improve the lock attacks. I believe the one lock passive you listed is also only for increasing the damage of one specific series of lock skills as well.

If im wrong someone correct me but I think thats how it works.

i'm pretty sure it wont because i have Bard as my secondary class and i tried using a bard passive skill and it did not help my wizard nukes. I think it only applies to skills of the same class =/


My Rant about why you should get bard as secondary skill: :)

if you are going to go wizard/bard you really only need 2 skills and that is Moving March and Noise. Noise stops preemptive attacks up to a certain level. You get to upgrade these skills once every 10 levels so its not like you're wasting a load of SP just on a secondary class. Noise makes grinding a lot easier with a lot less dying. It applies to pets and shields you from Party Mobs. However, doesnt stop champions or giants, so if a giant mob spawns on you. Use teleport and get the crap outta there.

It's a good build but will need a lot of SP if you want to have both masteries full

You should get fire for high damage, ice for slowing down a strong enemy, lightning for grass walk and killing lots of mobs around each other.

Earth is not really good.

earth is not most powerful, fire is, earth does area damage

light transfer and Knock back

ice is weakest, no?

unless once you get to 60 and get meteor things change the earth are more powerful...the 7 hit fire might do more when you add them up but thats not a practical skill unless fighting a giant or prty

If you look at all the first lvl nukes its the % applied to the damage that differs between the books. 3rd fire/light do not allow this comparrison as they are multi hits, but look at the % beside first lvl nukes and see which is more 1-earth 2-fire 3-ice 4-light

The problem is ppl are trying to eliminate nukes to save sp, they all have a purpose and are needed....if you dont have the sp to get them open your gap. The nukes needed for pvp varry depending on opponent

QFT.

Also you'll want earth for Earth Barrier defense buff. I can't tell you how many times thats saved me when something spawned behind me while fighting a party mob. Just put that on, teleport back, Light book 3, Fear on party mob. Kill regular mob. :P Also not to mention that the Earth Barrier will buff your whole party.

I think it's a very good build because of 3 reasons:

1. You can wear light armor.

2. You can res witch is useful in parties, just incase your main cleric dies.

3. The Bless Spell very great for you and all party. I noticed it gives courage for your party members to attack several strong targets at once, for example party champ, giant, and 2 general party mobs at once with no deaths. It is also very helpful when soloing and you want to attack a party mob, party champ or giant (haven't tried that on party giants because I never saw one in my life)

Okay...

So, lightning hits mobs or people around the target and so does earth... Then Which one does more damage to the people around?

And isn't ice the worst damage?

Caster and buffers do magical damage?
Do all the other classes do physical damage?

Earth does more damage. Ice and Lightning are both pretty bleh as far as damage goes. I believe Ice does more than lightning.

Yes, Casters (Warlocks & Wizards) and Buffers (Bards & Clerics) do magic damage. Rogues and Warriors do physical damage.

ok.. but then why do some warriors and rogues get INT if they use phy damage? I beleive MP increases MP and most importantly magical damage, which they dont use?

And physical damage is for HP and physical damage.

MAgical damage is only for buffers and casters, physical damage is what mellee's use right?

I thought the bless spells required a cleric rod? The moves that require a wep dissappear when that wep's unequipped dont they?

Also for the ppl discussing damage you are forgetting absolute damage as a classification.....it is set damage delt regardless of def I believe.

@ryuko---> str increases phys attack/int increases mag attack....warrior/rogues that add int are wasting stat points imo. All euro chars seem to be suited to be best as pure's, the usefulness of hybrids is eliminated by the fact that euro weps only have one type of damage. Chinese weps have both phys/mag attack on them. This is why some hybrid bow/spear/sword builds are successful.

The best example of why to not add int to a rogue or warrior would be to look at chinese glaiver/bladers...they have mag attack on weps but still stay pure str as its the only way to succeed with those builds

Bless spell doesn't require cleric rod its describtion only says "Used item: Cleric rod".

BTW i know it doesn't disappear because I have it and I use it very often.

Have a 3x wizard/cleric, And its Hybrid.
And its good for party monsters.

Fire and Earth have the most damage.

Hey guys im new to Silkroad, currently lvl 15 wizard.

I have a few questions, so far i have trained Firebolt, 1st earth AoE, earth spirit and fire spirit, and intelligence. Im bard sub class so so far, moving march and the MP Regen thing (which owns).

Basically, i wanna know what other skills are good. Im gonna get the 2nd earth root.

I like to do PvP, and was wondering which are the best skills for pvp.

Don't bother with the first and third lightning attks they are weak and although it hits multipule targets..... its weaker then earth

No one seems to have a talk about other combination of wizard.
i have build my character as a wizzard/warrior, to wear heavy armor.
I also use some money of my chinese char to imbue all my equip int str 3 , so i don't die so often.
i can deal with any party moobs 1 to 1 until to those equal in lvl with me.
Now i am 28lvl.
I am glad that i can chose wich party i want to join.
As other have the third book of earth and fire.
My nuke goes in frozen first, earth-quake second, and fire to finish - for a party mob.

It has been very usefull what all of u has been writen down here.
I will keep close to this forum.
