I wish there was a "Like" button on these forums because I'd hit it for every one of your posts. Kudos, sirs.

They thought the world was flat for thousands of years. Great Job scientists.
Well, I'm sure glad that science is a process that works by analyzing data to come to the must accurate conclusion possible. At the time, to the best of their knowledge, the Earth was flat.
Blackdragon6 wrote:Oh and to the crap about proving how the big bang happened. Impossible. It will be possible to prove how it "could have" happened. I have nothing wrong with people posting their beliefs/theory's. But I find it ignorant to blatantly claim they are wrong and only yours is right.
Good thing there are no proofs in science, only in mathematics will you find proofs. I don't think anyone here has called the other belief outright wrong while declaring theirs 100% correct. What we HAVE done is question the logic and reason used by certain people in forming their beliefs. This example may clear it up for you: If asked where this all came from, I will tell you I honestly don't know, but to the best of our understanding (through empirical evidence and mathematical rigor) the universe as we see it is the result of rapid inflation/big bang. Before that? I have no fing clue. Now, ask this of a religious person, they will give you a matter of fact answer, God did it, but when asked why would you come to this conclusion, where is the evidence to back this claim, it is seen as if we are attacking them. Why is this? To say that the two beliefs stand on equal footing is naive at best.

Is this suppose to help your cause at all?
"why would thor the unicorn, if he exists, let you prove his existence"
"why would multidimension beings, if they exist, let you prove their existence"
"why would the coders of our universe, if they exist, let you prove their existence"
"why would flubber, if he exists, let you prove his existence"
"why would the flying spaghetti monster, if he exists, let you prove his existence"
If it won't let us prove its existence, then why in the hell would we have any reason to believe it exists in the first place??? Because you WANT a god to exist? Because that would make YOU feel better. You can't will things into existence.
