Official Call of Duty: Black Ops Thread

Ok so for those of you who didn't figure out already. You can look around at the main menu screen and you can see that your strapped down to a chair all bloody and whatnot. If you press the left and right trigger repeatedly for about 3 seconds or so you should break free from the straps. After you do that there is a computer behind you and if you type DOA you can play a little arcade game and get a couple achievements from it. If you type ZORK it gives you some other random achievement too.

I also had a question...does anyone have the code from the first video that loaded when you put in the black ops CD. Some lady smoking a cig was like saying some random code and I wanted to test it out on the computer and see if it did anything.

How do you get the jumpsuit for your avatar? If it is some short-time deal I wouldn't mind it since it would be something to put on my avatar after 3.5 months without playing.

the controls for this game feels just like WaW. i want the feel to be like mw2. so far i haven't experience anything good about this game, except that you can use a controller in the pc version. i'll never buy a treyarch cod game again. in my opinion treyarch is worst than infinity ward. i only love the zombies mode and thats it about them.

Black ops = Treyarch

ohh gee I wonder why they feel the same? I just .. hmm I just can't figure it out.

modern warfare 2 felt different then cod4. i thought BO would be the same.

This game is amazing, the interface is so much nicer. And I love the fact that they've added Online Multiplayer Guess it'll be Black Ops after school with my broskis instead of Reach now

I played my friends account and the game feels like shit
it's like playing CSS without recoil .....
the sound is horrible, but im in need of a new game. if they drop the price to $25 for black friday, ill get it. if not, i wouldnt be missing out i reckon.

I still hate that snipers take like 3 secs after you zoom in to be accurate >.<

I have been the only person using the sniper in the last like 20 games and I've gotten half of my kills from my pistol -.-

Yeah, I've been trying to get that for a while. No one seems to be using the damn sentry guns. Why the hell would the make a 6 killstreak kill a requirement for a perk.

The AK74U seems to be the best weapon you can get early on, it's even better than most assault rifles, especially with the grip on.

I'm starting to get annoyed. Stopping power wasn't even that bad, now I put 10 bullets in someones body and he doesn't drop. It's just fcking impossible if there are two guys and both the low power and autoaim fucks you over. Argh

Hmm, might try that sometime then cuz where I would've gotten triple sprays in mw2 all I got here was a clip full of hitmarkers.

One of my biggest problems gamewise with Black Ops, is that you die so quickly. I mean it's like on mw2 I always remember having a red screen with heart beating and I could have a chance to escape sometimes. On here it's like I see a guy and within a matter of milliseconds I'm dead and respawning. I mean is it just me... or? On the bright side...I finally got camo for my guns. I love Tiger and Siberian camo.

I think you actualy die less fast than in mw2, the thing is... mw2 displayed the damage you had taken more clearly.
So you'll just have to get used to the damage-display system / how fast you die, i guess xD
