Acclaim is a company which cares (the answer to e-mails!!!), the GM's are "touchable" in the forum and in game - it is not like this hidden secret "power" you will never see or touch like Joymax is.

I didnt quit, SRO. I couldnt do that i think, not at the moment. But i am on a break from it, only ever popping in rarely to see how things are going down, check my Inbox and talk with some friends.

So Im more of On a Break than quit.

We all need a break from certain games or we will go crazy. I'm on an expended leave, I may come back, I may not. As with any game I play I keep my character, gold and all my stuff so I have that option.

That said I still love this forum and the community. People help to make the game fun.

Why is it assumed that you have to have 1000 posts on this forum to be legit?

I am not a bot ... I am very legit ... but I am also fairly new to this game having only played since September of 2006.

You all have to get over the fact that people sometimes move on and do other things. I know it is sad when a friend leaves a game ... but there are always new people joining too ...

There are still good people playing SRO. You just might have to look for new people though.

I almost felt like quitting seeing how everyone lvls up faster than me. :cry:

But I got over that and learn to enjoy the game by thieving or trading. This is why you should never quit.

Just enjoy the game and don't think of the bad stuff. It's possible to ignore it all and have fun.

lol no need convince me, i just started this list I've quit 6months but only because a couple backstabbed me to death in game, and i felt the community on venice was a piece of shit, so i left and now i exchanged my gaming addiction for better grades at school

but i started this list just to inform everyone how SILKROAD forums has 1/2 elite members not playing SRO no more

I quit in the weeks after the level 80 cap came out. What is there to do? I killed Yarkan half a dozen times at level 72. Other than that, I can waste my time leveling and trying to beat the botters who have the better gear and level faster than legit.

I've gone to WoW and don't regret it one bit. There is so much more depth and breadth to WoW when you compare it to SRO. They actually ban cheaters too. It's lots of fun, especially the expansion. It's ridiculous how fun Outland is.
