Awesome dude! = D

I've been considering doing something with Human Resources. It seems like it'll fit my personality well. Plus, average pay here in Tennessee is like 56k. I could easily be better the average. :)

nice. im just hoping that by the time im done with school the economy will be better

Last time I looked at my father's paycheck I wet myself a little. That's when I realized we don't live like we have that kind of money, lulz. Since I'm not going into the same profession as him I would say about 80k - 125k. About 70k-80k fresh out of Uni iirc.

oh please thats just wishful thinking

stay in school guys!!!!!

i donno about what electricians/body modders make, i did this volunteer thing with a mechanic, he showed me his punch card, in a single day 8hr work day, he decked out at least 12hr worth of pay (he was pay based on job, its hard to understand) in a single day. with $30/hr (he wasn't capped yet) he was broke the 80k mark. not sure why you said wishful thinking, what drove you to say that

porn star? security contractor? cant really think of a trade that will get you amount

Something in the medical field.

Specialize in something good and move to New York. Cash will be flowing like there's no tomorrow. When you're in your comfort zone move to a developing area and start your practice, and Medical is white collar, iirc.

I know what you mean, same thing happened to me.When he finally told me how much he gained per year I thought we wern't living a lifestyle similar to what he gains...
But then again, some people spend their money on "x" some will spend on "y"

One of my uncles earns less than $30,000 annually but his job pays for his house, house bills, furnishing, plane tickets for vacations, his children's school fees, car bills, etc, + he lives near a vacation spot (Bali in Indonesia) that would be the kind of lifestyle i would want, not having to pay bills and living tension free rather than having a large earning :p

Sounds sweet on the paper, but there has to be some limit. I guess they wont finance his 5*-hotel nights in Tokyo when he goes there for X-mas with his family?

Of course not, he doesnt celebrate x-mas ;p. Yeah its not like they are gonna pay for a Lamborghini or something, I meant its enough for a normal lifestyle.

it's really about how much you can live without.

i'm fine making $50k a year if i don't have a lot of responsibilities, i'm fine driving a $15k honda civic, and i'm fine buying things on sale.

i'll be more comfortable if i have more flexibility in what i can spend my money on, or how much i can save each month, because when i want to start a family, i'll want to have a healthy start on my kid's college tuition.

Surgeons get a lot of money. Aprox. 500000 a year.family doctors get a lot as well, think about it ...wat does any doctor do? They just sit around and only stay with u for like 10 min max. And they don't work for long hours, sounds like a dream job  . Only thing is u have to study in the beginning and pay for about 4-8 yrs of education, but after that u and ur family get to live ur lives... Cheers!

As my international business teacher would say:

People who play in major league sports get paid millions of dollars, and brain surgeons get paid less than that, isn't that sad?

My point was that high school people shouldn't put their money on making 80k a year straight out of high school by being a mechanic, modder, etc. I never said that you couldn't make a lot of money by being a mechanic. :/

is that some kind of allegory where the workshop is a sexual innuendo and the study is your brain?
